OUR MISSION

While on my mission trip to Polokwane, Limpopo, South Africa, I was astonished to learn of the humiliation so many young girls and women live with.

During their menstruation they use leaves, newspaper, corn husks, rocks, even dried cow dung, anything they can find. The girls miss that week of school every month and many just finally drop out.  Some 56% of women that menstruate say it has impacted their work.

Something as simple as providing these needs can be an instrumental key to social change.  Through partnering with DAYS FOR GIRLS, who have developed a sustainable, reusable feminine hygiene kit that can last 2-4 years and teaching vital health knowledge, we can give them income-generating opportunities and restore confidence as valuable human beings.
